Owner, Tracey Baroody, CMT, NCTMB, graduated from Potomac Massage Training Institute in 1999. Her continued studies include Orthopedic Assessment and Treatment of the Knee, Hip & Thigh with Ben Benjamin, Ph.D., and Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. Trained as a teacher, Tracey enjoys educating clients about massage and self-care. Individualized treatment plans are provided in collaboration with other massage therapists, physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists and Pilate's instructors in order to meet mutual treatment goals. Health Matters has participated for the past 5 years in the "Relax, Renew, Revive" medical morale program at Inova Juniper. The Washington AIDS Partnership funds this program. The staff at Juniper manage competing issues of client care, funding and large workloads. Partnership medical morale grants support these service providers to build their capacity to work together and provide quality patient care. We are proud to work with this wonderful group of people. Florida. The same year, she earned (and
maintains) her National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
(NCTMB). Kerri has practiced in Florida,
Texas and Virginia. Her continued studies include Myofascial Release
with John Barnes, PT, Ortho-Bionomy (Ann Hoeffel), Neuromuscular Therapy (Paul
St. John) and certifications in Bodywork for the Childbearing Year (Kate
Jordan), Pre- & Perinatal Massage Therapy (Carole Osborne).
